Firmly established as one of Australia’s great Rieslings, the 2023 vintage of Pikes Traditionale Riesling represents the 39th release of this much loved Clare Valley wine. This was crafted from grapes grown on Pikes own estate in Polish Hill River along with those some sourced from growers’ vineyards in Watervale, Leasingham, Mintaro and Sevenhill.

The 2023 Pikes Traditionale Riesling again displays the clarity and purity found in only the finest Clare Valley Riesling. Opening with classic aromas of lime, lemon and fresh cut apple, the palate is fresh, bright and delicate. Citrus fruit provides up front flavour while the mouth filling acidity kicks in at the end and sees it finish clean, dry and refreshing. Another brilliant Pikes Riesling release that will please the many fans of this wine. 

“93 Points. A racy and spritely Riesling with a zingy fresh mouth feel. Made from all free run juice and was left on fermentation lees for four months before bottling. This has given it a slightly textural and very pleasing mouthfeel. Has a light lemon sherbet aroma and a subtle musk-like character before a crunchy lively finish on a very long palate.
